We have our own vineyards
Warden Abbey, Bedfordshire's only working vineyard, is located a short distance from Summerhill Farm Shop and provides the finest of British wines that have consistently won awards for their quality and flavour.
We win awards for our quality
Planted in 1986 on the site of a 12th century vineyard attached to a Cistercian Abbey, our first vintage was 1990. Every year since then one or more of our wines have won awards, including several from the prestigious International Wine Challenge.
We also provide traditional ciders, ales and spirits
It's not all just about wine. We know that sometimes you want something a bit different, so we stock a range of locally-produced ciders and ales including the best from the Saffron and St. Peter's breweries in the South East, who use only traditional local ingredients and brewing methods to produce their fantastic ciders, ales and beers.
